# DefenceXpress > DefenceXpress is a UK security coordination platform in pre-launch development. It is designed to connect clients and organisations with suitable Security Officers, approved providers, specialist security capability, training pathways and operational coordination. AI may assist defined tasks, but accountable humans remain responsible for decisions and operational authority. ## Current status - Coming soon / pre-launch. - The public matching experience is a prototype demonstration. - Names, ratings, assignments, availability and personnel records shown in prototype matching are fictional demonstration data unless explicitly stated otherwise. - DefenceXpress does not present its DX1–DX9 progression framework as a replacement for statutory licensing or regulatory requirements. ## Core audiences - Clients and organisations that need security capability. - Security Officers and specialist security professionals. - Security companies and approved providers. - Veterans and service leavers. - Training providers and instructors. - Specialist teams and technology-enabled security capability. ## Security capability areas DefenceXpress is being designed around client requirements rather than licence terminology alone. Public capability areas include Security Officers / guarding, Door Supervisors, Event & Venue Security, Personal & Executive Protection, Transport & Aviation Security, Critical Infrastructure & Logistics, Maritime & Offshore Security, Specialised Tactical Units, Surveillance & Control Room, Canine Security (K9), and Drones / UAS / Robotics. ## Search terminology The prototype search is intended to understand everyday language and map it to professional service terminology. Examples include: - doorman, door man, doormen, door men, bouncer, bouncers and door staff -> Door Supervisor / Door Supervisors - CPO and bodyguard -> Close Protection Officer / Close Protection - security guard and guarding -> Security Officer / Guarding - CCTV and control room -> CCTV / Control Room capability - drone, UAV and UAS -> Drones / UAS capability Quantity can form part of the request, for example "4 bouncers" or "2 CPOs". For multi-person requirements, the intended platform model is to coordinate suitable team capacity rather than require clients to manually shop through every individual profile. ## Human-governed AI DefenceXpress describes its AI as human-governed and assistive. AI Officers have defined support roles covering governance, workflow coordination, guidance, matching, well-being and escalation awareness, permissions and evidence preparation, financial coordination, and decision records. AI does not replace legal authority, professional judgement or accountable human responsibility. ## Professional progression DefenceXpress uses a DX1–DX9 professional progression framework. It is an internal professional-development pathway and does not replace statutory licences, awarding organisations, regulators or legal requirements. ## Canonical public pages - Home: https://defencexpress.com/ - Need Security: https://defencexpress.com/clients - Security Officers: https://defencexpress.com/security-officers - Security Capabilities: https://defencexpress.com/capabilities - Veterans & Service Leavers: https://defencexpress.com/veterans - AI Officers: https://defencexpress.com/ai-officers - Officer Challenge: https://defencexpress.com/officer-challenge - Join the Network: https://defencexpress.com/join-defencexpress - Register Interest: https://defencexpress.com/register-interest - AI Innovation: https://defencexpress.com/government-ai-innovation - International Tactical Standards Council: https://defencexpress.com/international-tactical-standards-council - Investors & Strategic Partners: https://defencexpress.com/investors - Privacy: https://defencexpress.com/privacy ## Contact - Email: contact@defencexpress.com - Website: https://defencexpress.com/ ## App and assignment workflow The intended DefenceXpress workflow is request-first and operationally coordinated rather than an open bidding board. A typical lifecycle is Security Request -> Offer -> Assignment -> Deployment -> Coverage -> Handover -> Completion. Security Officers can declare availability, receive controlled assignment offers, review requirements, accept or decline, check in, receive tasking, report incidents, complete digital handover and close assignments from the app. Clients can receive assignment confirmations, deployment status, controlled tracking and ETA visibility, live operational updates, evidence and completion information. Security companies can receive approved capacity requests, nominate required personnel, manage compliance and coverage, and complete assignments through DefenceXpress. Specialised Tactical Units are handled as unit-level capability first, with controlled roster disclosure where appropriate. The Coming Soon website may show fictional app screens and simulated workflow states to demonstrate these intended functions. They are not live operational records or confirmations of current coverage.
