DEFENCEXPRESS · R28 PUBLIC PREVIEW

Questions and answers

What is DefenceXpress?

A human-governed, AI-assisted security coordination platform currently in development.

Can I book Officers today?

No. Pre-launch assessments and matches are illustrative, not confirmed availability, quotes or bookings.

Does DefenceXpress have a physical headquarters?

DefenceXpress is being developed as an online-first business, without a conventional customer-facing office. You can contact the pre-launch team at contact@defencexpress.com. Accurate legal identity and any applicable address disclosures must be resolved before public release.

Will Security Officers be employed or self-employed?

The intended initial route prioritises independent security businesses and genuinely self-employed professionals only where their actual arrangements meet UK law. Agency rules can require PAYE even where someone is described as a contractor. The PAYE or umbrella route for DX Flexible Security Officers is planned, not active; there are no live staffing assignments through this website.

How will DX1–DX9 work?

The proposed professional framework recognises competence, experience and development. Exact rank criteria and earning multipliers are subject to final commercial and standards reconciliation.

Can veterans receive experience recognition?

A planned process will examine evidence of prior service, training and applicable competence, without automatically replacing UK security licensing.

Will you provide live SOS or lone-worker monitoring?

No active emergency response service is offered through the Coming Soon website. These are future designs requiring staffed monitoring and tested procedures.

What is a Specialised Tactical Unit?

A specialist security team offering appropriate verified capabilities as a unit, separate from routine Officer staffing.

Do external companies use Jenny?

No. Jenny is DefenceXpress exclusive. External companies get their own separately branded AI receptionists.

Does the standards council replace regulators?

No. The proposed International Tactical Standards Council develops internal standards while applicable law and SIA requirements prevail.

Can I register for several pathways?

Yes. You can indicate multiple interests. Registration does not grant operational permissions, employment or access to assignments.

Is the radar tracking live Officers?

No. The radar is genuinely animated, but the pre-launch scanning display does not track or dispatch personnel.

What emergency backup and welfare support is planned for Security Officers on duty?

This planned Officer-to-Officer assistance is for Security Officers facing an urgent safety concern during an assignment, not for clients booking an emergency security service. Read about Security Officer safety and emergency backup. There is no live monitoring or backup dispatch through this pre-launch website. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999.

SECURITY OFFICER SAFETY · EMERGENCY BACKUP · PLANNED CAPABILITY

What if a Security Officer needs urgent backup while on duty?

This planned welfare and assistance capability is for Security Officers already on assignment who encounter threats, violence, injury or another serious safety concern, including while working alone. DefenceXpress aims to help the Officer raise an urgent alert and support the coordination of appropriate professional backup where it is authorised, available and safe. It is backup for Officers on duty, not an emergency security booking service for clients. The Coming Soon website does not provide live Officer monitoring, SOS response or backup dispatch. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

Will DefenceXpress automatically send backup to an Officer in danger?

Future automation may help raise alerts and promptly notify authorised people. Sending another Officer to help would depend on appropriate authority, suitable available personnel, safety and existing deployment commitments. AI will not independently authorise or confirm that backup has been dispatched. There is no live backup deployment service through this pre-launch website.

Can AI independently make decisions during an Officer welfare emergency?

No. The proposed AI support may identify urgency and assist authorised people with relevant information. Qualified, accountable humans remain responsible for decisions affecting Officer safety, professional duties and coverage. Internal emergency-assistance protocols are not published on this website.

This Officer-to-Officer assistance capability is in development and subject to operational testing, suitable providers, applicable law and human authorisation. No continuous monitoring or guaranteed response is implied.
